PLAINFIELD, N.J. - May 7, 2024 - PRLog -- Plainfield Special Improvement District (SID) proudly announces the unveiling of a captivating new mural in the forthcoming Queen City Restaurant District. Crafted by renowned street artist Ivan Petrofsky, known as Mr. Mustart, the mural stands as a vibrant symbol of the district's promising future.

Entitled "Birds In Bloom," the mural features a striking depiction of the city of Plainfield's iconic mascot, the cardinal, against a rising sun backdrop, intertwined with delicate floral silhouettes and street mapping. Its vibrant colors and inspirational symbolism reflect the dynamic energy of the burgeoning business and arts scene in Plainfield.

Abel Gomez, Executive Director at Plainfield SID, initiated the commissioning of this masterpiece to coincide with the organization's inaugural Arts In Bloom Spring Festival. "This mural not only beautifies our city but also serves as a beacon, drawing attention to the developing Queen City's Restaurant District," said Gomez. "It underscores our commitment to fostering creativity and community along with economic growth"
