Follow on Google News | Tim and Demi-Leigh Tebow share stories of faith at Southwest Florida Community Prayer BreakfastBy: Southwest Florida Community Prayer Breakfast Held May 2 at Hammond Stadium at Lee Health Sports Complex, more than 2,300 people gathered at Hammond Stadium at Lee Health Sports Complex for a morning of prayer for the local community, state, world and country, as well as messages of faith and service to others. To honor the National Day of Prayer, which is recognized on the first Thursday of May, the Tebows joined the Southwest Florida community in unified prayer, continuing the tradition that began in 1988 when the Community Prayer Breakfast was introduced. It's a day that we would get to show up and pray to a really big God." A highlight of the event was when Devin Cannon, a Cape Coral resident and Tebow Foundation Night to Shine Prom King, escorted Demi-Leigh to the stage. Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, provides people with special needs with an unforgettable prom experience. Southwest Florida Community Prayer Breakfast, Inc. was founded to guarantee that the prayer breakfast continues to be celebrated annually. John Noland, Carl Barraco, Gary Trippe, Ron Inge, Richard Akin, Ashley Hull and Matt Roepstorff serve as board members of the Southwest Florida Community Prayer Breakfast. The presenting sponsor was Daniel R. and Anne M. Harper Foundation. Speaker sponsors for the 2024 event included AIM Engineering; End
