LARecalls Launches Fund Raiser for Judicial Recall and Self-Represented Litigants

LOS ANGELES - April 18, 2023 - PRLog -- LARecalls raises awareness on much needed change at Los Angeles Superior Court ("LASC").

Most don't know what goes on at LASC until they find themselves in probate court, civil court, criminal court, family court or eviction court. Over 75% of all litigants in California are self-represented yet are not treated in the same light as those that are represented.

While even appellate judges will face "retention" elections, LASC judges usually preside for life because no one will oppose them each election cycle - subsequently only a recall will get change.

LARecalls seeks volunteers who share in their objective to get much needed change.

Additionally, through their One Million Five initiative, LARecalls seeks one million people to donate $5.00 (or any amount they choose) for extensive recall costs and for a fund to help all self-represented litigants in California who are forced to pay all court reporter appearance fees, unfair sanctions, deposition costs and unexpected costs that will pop up when dealing with insurance defense. No one should go bankrupt because they seek to be made whole and because they seek justice.
