Best-selling crime writers and mystery fans convene in Darkside of Brighton

BRIGHTON, U.K. - Oct. 19, 2023 - PRLog -- Crime mystery buffs get together to meet their favourite crime writers at Darkside of Brighton - the friendliest literary festival in the country held at the Old Ship Hotel on 28th-29th October.

More than 30 new and established crime authors are participating in the two-day festival. The event will be packed with conversations with chart-busting writers and panels discussing things like "Writing female leads" and "Police procedural".

Darkside of Brighton boasts an impressive lineup of best-selling crime writers. Brighton-based Elly Griffiths (Dr Ruth Galloway mysteries & Brighton mysteries) and William Shaw (DS Alex Cupidi and Breen & Tozer mysteries) are joined by Lewes-based Leslie Thomson (Detective's Daughter series), Vaseem Khan (Malabar House and Baby Ganesh Agency mysteries) and Leigh Russell (DI Geraldine Steel series), as well as other established and emerging talents.

The event is the brainchild of Donna Morfett, a blogger, interviewer and reviewer of crime fiction.
