Battlefield FCA Welcomes Prospective Staff Becky Weber for Girls Lacrosse and All Abilities Sports

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - May 14, 2024 - PRLog -- Key Addition to Address Growing Needs in Girls Lacrosse and Special Needs Sports Programming in Virginia

Battlefield FCA, a leading sports ministry serving several counties in Virginia, is thrilled to welcome Becky Weber as prospective staff focusing on Girls Lacrosse leagues and clubs as well as All Abilities Sports. With over 35 years in the coaching community and nearly two decades of volunteer service with FCA, Weber is set to commence her role on October 20, 2023.

"We're profoundly honored to have Becky, with her vast experience and dedication, join our team. Her commitment aligns perfectly with our mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church," said Scot Small, Metro Area Director of Battlefield FCA.

During her tenure at previous coaching roles, Becky has made significant contributions in sports like swimming, triathlons, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, and field hockey. Battlefield FCA initiated the search for this crucial role, recognizing the increasing demand and opportunities in girls' lacrosse and the need for specialized programming for athletes with special needs.

"I'm humbled and eager to be part of the Battlefield FCA journey. Leveraging my background in special education and extensive coaching experience, I hope to empower student-athletes and individuals with special needs in our community," expressed Becky Weber.

Becky earned her Master's in Education in Special Education with a concentration on special population recreation and leisure services. Outside her professional endeavors, Becky loves all things sports related and, along with her family, shares a love for the outdoors, be it boating, fishing, hiking, or simply enjoying nature's tranquility.

In her role, Becky will be instrumental in developing and promoting girls' lacrosse initiatives and ensuring that All Abilities Sports programs are effectively executed, thereby furthering Battlefield FCA's mission and serving its diverse community.
