Website to celebrate Black History Month with A Special Feature on Soul Food Cooking and its strong roots in African American History.

Jan. 10, 2007 - PRLog -- JACKSON, TENNESSEE (January 9, 2007) The Soul Food Advisor.com is celebrating Black History Month and the accomplishments of black heroes of yesterday. This website will include a special feature on Soul Food Cooking and its deep roots in African American history, black history recipes with many from the early years, preplanned soul food menus, black history trivia and fun facts, and a special tribute of everyday people that are black history makers, and much more.

The public is invited to send recipes, stories of black history makers in their community, young and old and how they have impacted the lives of others, and special events planned for black history month.

This special celebration will take place on Soul Food Advisor.com from February 1, 2007 and run through March 15, 2007. The deadline to submit stories and ideas for publication is Wednesday, January 24, 2007. All stories MUST include a contact person, a valid email address, and the city and state the story took place.

Whether you’re new to soul-food cooking for just want to learn more, the website offers practical advice and cooking tips on preparing great African American cuisine. About the Soul Food Advisor
Born and raised in West Tennessee, Cassandra Harrell began tempting palates with her southern influence when she owned an award winning soul food restaurant and catering business in Wisconsin. She taught cooking classes on preparing African-American cuisine and served thousands during conventions, annual festivals, trade shows, and sporting events.

During her years in catering and food services, she received rave reviews, numerous features in newspapers, and interviews on television segments.
