April 2, 2007 - PRLog -- Sloterdijk was formed by Mike Burro in 1996 in The Netherlands. Now in it's 11th year the band is still going strong. Over that time Sloterdijk has performed in Europe, The UK and The US. They  have worked with and supported UK spacerock icons Hawkwind and their many spinoff projects; logging dates in Hamburg, Devon, Berlin, London etc. The  last time the band performed in the New York area was in  2000  supporting Hawkwind alumnus Harvey Bainbridge on his 'Traveling Outerspace Spectacular' tour.
Fast forward to 2007...Sloterdijk will play two NJ/NY shows, in Teaneck and Morristown. Dubbed 'The Ring Shaped Nodule Tour', these concerts promise to be 'full tilt spacerock', with the band playing the best of their previous material, some new songs and of course a few Hawkwind numbers. These shows will also highlight the new lineup of Mike Burro ( guitar/synths/vocals/programming ), Greg Elwell ( guitar ), and Jeff Berry ( bass ).
The two dates are as follows:
April 12th: Mexicali Blues: Teaneck, NJ ( see http://www.mexicalibluescafe.com ) or call ( 201 ) 833-0011
April 28th: Cafe Arabica, Morristown, NJ ( see http://www.cafearabicanj.com ) or call ( 973 ) 984-2307
