Taekwondo Challenge to be Lakeland, Fl, Next Saturday at the LakeLand Center

March 9, 2008 - PRLog -- Tournament Directors Randall Babbitt and James Roberts are pleased to announce the 2008 Florida Challenge will be held at the Lakeland Center, Lakeland, Florida, on March 15, 2008. The tournament venue is located an hour's drive from Disney World and there are lots of family activities to enjoy in the area after the tournament is over.

This tournament offers large matted rings (9 mats by 9 mats or 27 feet by 27 feet), electronic scoring and a large venue. Due to the size of the venue, as many as eight rings may be active at any one time.

Both tournament directors are known for running well organized martial arts events in the Central Florida Area. They recently held a well attended multi-sport tournament featuring martial arts as well as other sports at the State Fairgrounds in Tampa.
