April 21, 2008 - PRLog -- Oliver Maldonado and Howie Drummond of the Alice 105.9 Morning Show in Colorado met with Crispin Glover on his self directed, produced and self funded “What Is It?” the first of Crispins Trilogy of independent films which appeared in the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

Crispin Glover said, “I’m trying to do something different in an industry that is changing and main stream movie production is afraid to look at taboo subjects and where most producers are not saying much if anything at all”.

When Howie Drummond of the Alice 105.9 morning show asked Crispin if he would consider a role in his up coming movie, Crispin Glover responded, “I would consider the role of crew member #3 if I feel I could bring something to the character and if it’s a large enough role. Crew member #3 doesn’t sound like a large role, but who knows it could turn out that it’s one of the main characters of the movie and there might be 30 pages of dialogue he has”.

“Howie Drummond did a fantastic job with his interview with Crispin Glover! He and Crispin were on the same page and understood what we were trying to accomplish. Of course we’d love to have Crispin Glover in our film, he’s an amazing actor and has been in such block busters as Back to the Future, Charlies Angels, Beowulf and of course his very own What is it? Howie and I are big fans and this would be an amazing opportunity for us if Crispin was in our film! We were big fans before meeting Crispin Glover, but after meeting him, I’m an even bigger fan now!” said Oliver Maldonado when asked about Howies interview with Crispin.

Crispin Glover said, “It’s not for me to give an opinion on BigFoot one way or the other whether he exists or not. That’s for the public to decide for themselves.” When Howie asked if BigFoot is for real.

Oliver & Howie are currently holding an open call for Colorado local bands to submit their music to be considered for the movies soundtrack and a scene in the movie.

“We actually almost had the hit song Handlebars in our movie from the flobots a Colorado band. That song would have fit right in with the movie and would have had a large impact for both, the band and the movie. Unfortunately for us, but great for flobots, they recently got picked up by a major label and we’re pretty sure we lost the song by now? I’m still hoping we’ll be able to use the song in our movie? We’ll see, I had made contact with their manager and they mentioned they’d love to be a part of a local independent project, but that was a couple of days before they signed.” Said oliver when asked if they had any particular local band for the movie in mind.

Oliver Maldonado’s & Howie Drummonds movie on Bigfoot is currently in production and being filmed. For more information on the movie and the progress you can visit ColoradoBigFootDocumentary.com .
