May 13, 2008 - PRLog -- BigFoot returns to Green Mountain Falls Colorado where Unsolved Mysteries were mistified with the scientific DNA results that could not be identified by scientist.

Oliver Maldonado & Howie Drummond of Alice 105.9 are Colorados newest Filmmakers conducting there very own documentary of these encounters in Green Mountain Falls. They've put together a website to keep the public aware of their results on the documentary.

On May 9th, Oliver & Howie with their film crew went to Green Mountain falls to meet & interview the couple that had the BigFoot encounter years ago that sparked Unsolved Mysteries to do an episode.

They not only met the couple from the Unsolved Mysteries episode, but were also shown recent BigFoot foot rpints that are believed to be only two weeks old.

While Oliver & Howie were conducting their interview & filming they were pleasantly surprised that the Mayor of Green Mountain Falls stopped by to pay them a visit.

"I was very surprised to have had the Mayor of Green Mountain Falls stop by to wish us luck with our expedition! It was very nice to have had him so pleased that we were in town researching some of these recent activities, we were actually going to try and meet with the Mayor in  a couple of weeks to make sure he was okay with our film crews being in town, but he beat us to the punch.
Not only that, but it seems the entire town was happy to see us in town researching the BigFoot encounters they've had and continue to have." said Oliver when asked about his most recent filming in Green Mountain Falls.

Oliver Maldonado is a Colorado businessman that retired at age 32 and recently decided to come out of retirement to become a filmmaker. He has recently partnered with Howie Drummond a Colorado DJ with the #1 Morning Show on Alice 105.9 with BJ, Howie & Jennifer.

Oliver & Howie are both predicting that they'll have their film entered & accepted by Sundance Film Festival which is their main goal.

"Let's be realistic, we're not just new Colorado Filmmakers, we've stumbled on something big here! BigFoot sightings in Colorado have been many, but if that's not enough there was hair and DNA tests conducted by Scientists that could not be identified! This is what sparked the Unsolved Mysteries Episode in Green Mountain Falls! So, what ever is happening, it's real.
That's not to mention, we've had local scouts find us what are believed to be new & recent BigFoot prints and we've documented that on film." said Howie when asked about the project.

"So with everything we have going on, and the inside information we have, it's sparked a lot of interest from the media. We're actually scheduled to be interviewed on Channel 9's Colorado & Company on May 15th." Said Oliver when speaking on the media attention his film has generated.

These Colorado FIlmmakers are coming on strong with their ColoradoBigFootDocumentary.com project. So far it seems they're on the right track and the public and media are keeping an eye on the results from their project!

Alice 105.9 hosted a battle of the BigFoot bands to get Colorado bands to become part of the project. With over 500 submissions, Oliver & Howie have identified 6 local Colorado bands to be on the Soundtrack and 1-2 bands to be in the Film itself. Originally Oliver was working with the Flobots with their song Handlebars, whcih Oliver thought it would be perfect for the film. Oliver was beaten out by Universal which signed the band before Oliver could finalize on their deal.

Oliver has also had other local Colorado companies sponsor some of the movie, companies such as Crocs who donated the foot gear with their Croc shoes. Yia-Yias have also sponsored and catered their Mansion documentary announcement party. Oliver is hoping that other local Colorado companies will want to participate in a film that will help market Colorado.
