Lexington Medical Center Wins 2008 Consumer Choice Award

Oct. 20, 2008 - PRLog -- – Lexington Medical Center has been awarded the National Research Corporation’s 2008 Consumer Choice Award for the seventh consecutive year. Consumers in the Columbia, S.C. area named Lexington Medical Center a co-winner this year based on four image metrics: best overall quality, best image and reputation, best doctors and best nurses.

Winners of this prestigious award are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in the NRC’s Healthcare Market Guide Ticker® study, the nation’s largest and most comprehensive study of its kind. The study surveyed over 200,000 households representing over 400,000 consumers in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. This is the thirteenth year NRC has awarded hospitals whose consumers have recognized them for providing the highest quality healthcare.
