Scientology Cult Bullies Teen By Deciving FBI

Oct. 18, 2008 - PRLog -- In what appears to be a coordinated propaganda action, the Scientology organization has released a video to repeat its tired characterization of Anonymous protesters as terrorists. This video appears on the same day that New Jersey teenager Dmitriy Guzner has pleaded guilty to a denial of service attack against Scientology web sites in January. It also comes a day before Anonymous's ninth monthly protest at Scientology locations worldwide.

Project Chanology, the Anonymous campaign against Scientology, has grown far beyond its origins in the rough-and-tumble culture of internet image boards. Indeed, as Chanology has focused on legal means of protest, it has been scorned by image board users for excessive moralizing. The goal, however, remains the same: to dismantle the phony church of Scientology in its present lawbreaking, human rights-abusing, dissent-suppressing, fraudulent form. Anonymous does this by spreading documented examples of the organization's ongoing illegal activities. Anonymous protesters hide their identities precisely because of the activities they are protesting, which include investigation and harrassment of critics, whether law-abiding or not.

The past two months have not been easy for the Scientology organization. In France, a court case threatens to outlaw the organization nationwide. Germany has held an international conference where former high-ranking Scientologists gave horrific examples of the organization's contempt for human rights and dignity. According to Scientology's own publicity booklet, "What Is Scientology?", the organization cares only about rights for "honest beings" - that is, Scientologists in good standing.

As if to emphasize the point, the past week brings a rumor that Scientologist Uwe Stuckenbrock has died at the organization's western US headquarters, where he had been assigned to a punishment program for attempting to escape Scientology's international headquarters in San Jacinto, California. Mr. Stuckenbrock, a German citizen and a former executive in the organization, had wasted away for several years with multiple sclerosis, a treatable disease. Another unconfirmed report claims that Debra Cook, the chief of Scientology's eastern US headquarters, has quietly left her post.

At the same time, despite the temporary loss of its main planning board, Anonymous has staged various minor "flash raids" in addition to its monthly protests, including several pickets at Scientology's international headquarters. The international headquarters is home to Scientology's media production sweatshop, staffed by captive Scientologists whose communications are closely monitored and censored.

Later this month, Scientologists are expected to turn to Scientology leader David Miscavige for reassurance that the organization is growing and prospering. Therefore it is not surprising that the organization has fired this public relations shot at Anonymous, seeking to tag anyone who exposes its activities with the "terrorist" label. The organization remains true it its founder's teaching: ""Don't ever defend. Always attack." (HCO Policy Letter, August 15, 1960, p. 484)

Rather than taking the Scientology organization's word, Anonymous encourages the public to watch videos of a recent Hamburg conference at youtube.com/AboutScientology; to read further at taxexemptchildabuse.net, whyweprotest.net, and unfairgame.net ; and to decide for themselves who the real criminals are.

About Scientology
Scientology is a movement created by science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard in the mid-20th century. It emphasizes man's immortal spirit, reincarnation, and an unscientific method of psychotherapy called "Dianetics". On higher course levels, Scientologists learn that Dianetics can't 'cure' lower level Scientologists as their bodies are possessed by the souls of aliens. Scientology blames psychiatry for the Holocaust and the 9/11 attacks, and works for a 'global obliteration' of mental health.

About Anonymous
Anonymous is a grassroots collective comprised of ordinary people from all walks of life, from former Scientologists and long-time cult activists, to college students and corporate professionals, all united in recognition of the malign nature of the Church of Scientology, the danger it poses to society, and the necessity of action. The Times has said that "Anonymous has made campaigning sexy for the first time since 1968". In recent months, Anonymous protesters have been stalked and, in the US and UK, threatened with legal action in an attempt to dissuade them from protesting, and silence their criticism. Anonymous remain undaunted, and will continue to confront the cult and its numerous front groups wherever they pose a threat.
