Registration Now Open For Chain Reaction Spinning® Event

Dec. 18, 2008 - PRLog -- Get ready to get in the saddle for a good cause, registration is now open for Chain Reaction, a three-day charity Spinning® event benefiting HealthCorps® and its fight against childhood obesity. The event is hosted by Star Trac®, Spinning®, and the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), and is set for March 17 through 19 during the 2009 IHRSA tradeshow at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, North Hall. Chain Reaction was created to help HealthCorps extend its proactive health movement nationally, encouraging and educating high school students to live a healthy, active lifestyle. The event brings together celebrities, fitness enthusiasts, professional athletes and companies for a fun, high-energy event to reach the $1 million fundraising goal to establish HealthCorps’ groundbreaking curriculum in more schools within the coming year.

Star Trac, a leader in the commercial fitness industry, building on its Expect Different initiatives to encourage all people to live a healthy, active lifestyle has partnered with HealthCorps to organize the massive initiative and high-energy fitness event.
