Jan. 9, 2009 - PRLog -- With the season of dragons, daffodils and national pride almost upon us Swansea, is gearing up to celebrate in style with a Saint David’s Week festival.

The week-long celebrations will run from 23rd February and end on St David's Day itself - 1st March 2009.

Events already confirmed include Max Boyce gracing the Grand Theatre, a Welsh Day at Swansea City v Charlton, The Storys set to rock the Brangwyn Hall and a Welsh Market in Castle Square.

With new events being added daily the festival has something for everyone; from poetry to rock, food to walks and exhibitions to rugby, the hardest part is deciding what events to choose!   The week also includes plenty of free activities and events for families.
