2009 The Crystal Coast Foosball Challenge

     “We are extremely excited to bring one of our Bonzini™ U.S.A. Foosball Tour stops back to the Atlantic Beach area,” said Cribbs Inc. president Alan Cribbs. “Our last event at The Beach Tavern was in 2003.  This year’s foosball event will support a very worthy local charity, the Carteret County Domestic Violence Program.   Since 2001 we have surpassed $134,000.00 in contributions raised through Bonzini U.S.A. Foosball Tour events. We have a dedicated player base that is working hard to make all our events on the 2009 Bonzini U.S.A. Foosball Tour.”

      “We are excited and grateful to be chosen as the recipients of this fundraising effort, The Crystal Coast Foosball Challenge is a fun event that will help raise money and awareness for Caroline’s House, the Carteret County Domestic Violence Program’s shelter for abused women and children,”” said Glenda Riggs, Executive Director.  “Due to the economic crisis in our country, many non-profit agencies are experiencing cut backs at the state and federal level resulting in decreased funding for our programs.  This decrease is happening at a time when incidences of domestic violence are on the rise, also due in part to the economic crisis and the resulting stress that this situation creates.  It is crucial to the Carteret County Domestic Violence Program to seek support from our communities to aid us in the provision of safe shelter and services to victims of abuse and their children at their time of greatest need, “ said Glenda Riggs, Executive Director.

      “The Bonzini USA Foosball tour is very excited about hosting the Crystal Coast Foosball Challenge.  This tournament is a great opportunity for players to get together and have a good time doing what we love, while at the same time raising money for a very worthy cause, the Carteret County Domestic Violence Program.” said Alan Cribbs, President
