April 2, 2009 - PRLog -- The domnick hunter Industrial Division of Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, will exhibit a selection of its energy efficient and cost saving separation and purification solutions on the Parker village booth at the Hannover Fair, the world's largest and most important showcase for industrial technology, 20 – 24 April in hall 23, stand A 50.

Parker domnick hunter has been supplying industry with high efficiency filtration and purification products since 1963. Its philosophy “Designed for Air Quality & Energy Efficiency” ensures products not only provide the user with clean, high quality compressed air, but also with low lifetime costs and reduced CO2 emissions.

At this years show, the company will display a selection of its many energy and cost saving solutions, with the food and beverage industry in mind.

Parker domnick hunter’s unique suite of pre-treatment solutions include OIL-X EVOLUTION compressed air filters and PNEUDRI adsorption dryers provide delivered air quality in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2001, the international standard for compressed air quality.

OIL-X EVOLUTION compressed air filters
OIL-X EVOLUTION high efficiency compressed air filters consist of coalescing filter grades for the removal of water and oil aerosols, solid particulates and micro-organisms, dust filter grades for the removal of dry particulate and micro-organisms and oil vapour removal filters.

These high efficiency filter ranges are necessary to meet the air quality standards required by many critical applications and processes within industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, chemical, electronics, breathing air and food and beverage applications and also meet the Food Grade Compressed Air Code of Practice as recommended by the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) and the British Retail Consortium (BRC).

PNEUDRI adsorption dryers
PNEUDRI heatless and heat regenerative dryers have proven to be the ideal solution for many thousands of compressed air users worldwide and in a wide variety of industries.
PNEUDRI totally cleans and dries compressed air down to a pressure dewpoint of -40°C as standard. For critical applications, PNEUDRI can be specified with a pressure dewpoint of -70°C.

It is worth noting that a pressure dewpoint of -26°C or better will not only prevent corrosion, but will also inhibit the growth of micro-organisms within the compressed air system which is particularly beneficial to the food industry.

MIDIGAS nitrogen gas generators
The company will also showcase its latest MIDIGAS on-site food-grade nitrogen gas generator at the show.

The updated MIDIGAS and successful MAXIGAS ranges are suitable for small to medium and medium to large nitrogen requirements respectively. They make on-demand nitrogen gas from compressed air and are alternatives to traditional nitrogen sources for a wide range of applications in the food and beverage industry such as MAP (modified atmosphere packaging), gas flushing, pressure transfer and blanketing of foodstuffs and raw materials.

Visitors concerned about the challenging economic climate will benefit from calling on the stand as the generators present users with the opportunity to save up to 90% on nitrogen gas costs due to a low lifecycle ownership cost and quick pay-back period. In addition, on-demand functionality allows greater control over nitrogen production thus limiting waste and providing excellent energy efficiency, whilst operating from a small compressor facilitates low energy consumption.

Analytical gas generators
Parker domnick hunter’s range of analytical gas generators, produce cost-effective, premium quality gases from a compact, on-site source.

Hydrogen gas generators will be on display at the fair and offer GC users in the food and beverage industry fast analysis, optimised resolution and long column life.  They also offer a safe, cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to the rising price of the non-renewable source of helium and visitors to the stand will learn how built-in safety features including sophisticated software control and multiple fail-safe safety alarms mean all the benefits of hydrogen can be reaped, whilst safety concerns are avoided.

Nitrogen gas generators which are designed to specifically match the gas requirements of LCMS instrumentation facilitate optimum performance and will also be exhibited.  In addition, robust and totally regenerative carbon molecular sieve technology guarantees durability and lifetime cost effectiveness.

Parker domnick hunter solutions are available with a range of tailored, preventative maintenance contracts and a dedicated global support network to offer peace of mind.
