Hayes Barnard, Owner of Paramount Equity Mortgage wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

April 10, 2009 - PRLog -- On Tuesday January, 20th Hayes Barnard, President and Owner of Paramount Equity Mortgage, was honored by the Roseville Chamber of Commerce and presented with the Roseville Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

“Barnard’s voice should be recognizable to about anyone in town who listens to the radio…” says Bruce Stephenson, a partner with Gallina LLP which sponsors the award. In fact, he is heard on radio stations in CA, AZ, OR, WA, UT, and VA.  As a result of these radio ads, thousands call and do business with Paramount Equity Mortgage every week.  

Hayes started his business in Roseville five years ago with his closest friends, Jason Walker and Matt Dawson.  Their shared goal was to revolutionize the mortgage industry by elevating the professionalism in the business while streamlining the lending process with the use of improved technology.  Their vision allowed the company to grow to over 300 employees generating nearly $75 million in revenue.

So how has this entrepreneur survived, while many of the giants in lending have crumbled? “There have been two major factors that have helped contribute to our success as a mortgage company, being a FHA approved lender and having our own mortgage banking operation. These benefits are invaluable to Paramount Equity.  They give our employees the opportunity to help more people save money.  We also enjoy more control of the loan, providing a faster loan process at a much lower cost,” says Barnard.  

In the company’s quest to save the average family money, Paramount Equity Insurance Services was created three years ago to offer auto and homeowners policies at a reduced rate.  In fact, Barnard looks forward to expanding his business to offer additional opportunities to save his neighbors money in the near future.
