April 17, 2009 - PRLog -- James L. Wilson D.C., N.D., Ph.D., author of “Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Syndrome” will present the topic at the American Chiropractic Council on Nutrition symposium, “Functional Nutrition for the Female Patient,” April 23-26, 2009 in Atlanta, GA.

“Adrenal function is intimately involved in women’s health, and women in perimenopause or menopause with adrenal fatigue do much better and experience many fewer symptoms when they receive proper adrenal support,” said Dr. Wilson.

An expert on endocrine imbalances and their impact on health, including the effects of stress on adrenal function, Dr. Wilson’s presentation is targeted to help physicians and other health professionals understand the physiology behind adrenal fatigue syndrome and the successful treatment of stress related health conditions, particularly in women.

“People are losing their jobs, their homes, their investments and their health in this economic crisis that has now become a stress crisis. The onset of adrenal fatigue is usually preceded by periods of stress.
