Vast Talent CEO to Speak at APRIA 2009 Conference in Beijing

Vast Talent's CEO will present on China's Basic Standard for Enterprise Internal Control at the 13th Annual APRIA Conference in Beijing, China.
 
July 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Vast Talent, specialized provider of compliance and performance management systems in China, today announced that the company Founder and CEO, Alex Raymond, will speak at the 13th Annual APRIA Conference, hosted by the China Center for Insurance and Social Security Research (CCISSR), at Peking University, Beijing, China.

At the conference, Mr. Raymond will be one of the speakers in the plenary session titled The Financial Crisis and the Future of Risk Management on Tuesday, 21 July 2009.  The talk, entitled “A Preview of New Corporate Governance Regulations in China in Response to the Financial Crisis” will address the operational impact to insurance companies of the Basic Standard for Enterprise Internal Control.   

The Basic Standard for Enterprise Internal Control (also known as China SOX or C-SOX), which was sponsored by the Ministry of Finance, China Securities Regulatory Commission, the National Audit Office, China Banking Regulatory Commission and China Insurance Regulatory Commission, is intended to increase the effectiveness of internal controls in listed Chinese companies, thus reducing risks for companies and their stakeholders.   It will have a significant impact on the insurance industry in China.
