July 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Elizabeth Noble is a British author, famous for her romantic novels that clearly bring out the real facts of love in this world.

“The Girl Next Door” is a gorgeous and unforgettable novel set in a turn-of-the-century New York apartment building on the Upper East Side that features four interwoven stories about love, life and living together. The book starts with Eve Gallagher, a Brit who recently moved to New York after her husband, Ed, gets a job as a banker. When the couple moves in the Upper East Side building, the author brings out a huge list of characters that are tied up with love knots.

This book is not only a story about Eve, her husband, and their time in the States. It’s a tale about the residents in the building where each of them sharing their story and their heartache. Instead of naming out the characters at every story, the author has given a reference page at the front which will be useful to distinguish the roles. In the plot, there is a couple whose marriage is strained after years of infertility and the strain of interventions, even though they now have a healthy toddler.

Also there is another couple, whose match looks perfect but their happiness is doomed. Also the story brings out the role of super-rich guy whose family bought him the apartment. He seems self-centered and unmotivated until the readers discover that he’s really a nice guy.

In short, this book will break the readers’ heart since it brings out the secrets and desires hidden behind closed doors in an apartment where neighbours and friends become family.
