Aug. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- V.K. (Katie) Sansone of Des Moines loves children and she and her husband, John, have raised three of their own. Ms. Sansone recently released several books, of which three were written for young children along with one just for tweens.

A native of Ashland, KY, Ms. Sansone has six grandchildren of her own and enjoys writing the books for children the most. As a mother, she read to her own children and often told them stories she invented on the “spur-of-the-moment” from the crevices of her very creative mind.

She’s also written a memoir “My Life Journal” detailing some of her “not-always-happy” life, including the tragic loss of her eldest child, her son Ellis, in an auto accident, and a vivid short story “My First 24 Hours in Hell” revolving around a dream she had about what the first day in “Hell” would be like.

Her newest work, a three-book series about loveable “Katie Bear” will be available sometime in late August or early September. All of her books are available from her publisher’s site, Lulu.com, and Amazon.com.
