Ifan Huw Dafydd announces his new film is to be premiered in August at the Left Coast Eisteddfo

Aug. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Ceri Shaw, founder of The Left Coast Eisteddfod said, “We are delighted to be having Ifan Huw Dafydd’s  “Wales: Two Heroes and Treasures” here for its premiere at the Left Coast Eisteddfod. I’ve had a sneak preview. The two heroes in question are Prince Madog, who discovered America in 1170 and left a legacy of the Welsh language among the Mandan tribe of native Americans, and Llywelyn the Last who was betrayed and assassinated by Edward’s barons at Cilmeri, Powys. The treasures include the newly created World Heritage site of Telford’s Aqueduct at Froncysyllte, Clwyd, and glorious Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey – the home of St. Dwynwen, the Patron Saint of Welsh lovers.(http://www.WalesDVDCymru.com)
“Wales: Two Heroes and Treasures” will also be shown during a talk on the discovery of America by Prince Madog  given by Welsh author and historian Beryl Richards.
