MrTed Updates For SmartRecruiters Enhance Performance

Sept. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO, CA  The latest release of SmartRecruiters, the free and easy applicant tracking system (ATS) from MrTed Ltd., offers nine new features and many other enhancements intended to make recruiting easier than ever for small businesses.  

Unveiled by MrTed less than one year ago, SmartRecruiters is 100% free and designed specifically for businesses with up to 2,500 employees. With more than 2,000 small businesses using SmartRecruiters today, it’s the fastest-growing ATS in the recruiting software industry.
 
The new version of SmartRecruiters builds on a major update to the service announced last month.  Following are the latest feature additions and user-requested improvements:

Email Notifications – As soon as a new candidate submits an application, the SmartRecruiters user and anyone else in their organization who is attached to that job will get real-time notification via direct Email Notification integrated into SmartRecruiters.
Easier Access to “My Profile” – Users can now easily access their User Profile from a new sub-navigation menu below the main navigation bar of their SmartRecruiters ATS to more quickly edit their personal details and preferences, change their login credentials, and administer their email notifications.

More User-Friendly Sourcing Center – SmartRecruiters has made visual and functional improvements to its Sourcing Center, with a more natural layout, a more clear-cut posting process, and the great advantage of being able to select and add Job Boards in a single click.
Simpler Document Uploading for Candidates – Based on feedback from users, SmartRecruiters has made practical, useful improvements to the Online Application program. The menu for important applicant upload options (Resume, Cover Letter, etc.) now stays open rather than collapsing, and SmartRecruiters has added instructions to make the process of submitting an application more clear.
Updated Applicant Preview Overlay – The “Re-Assign to Requisition” and “Job Offer” action buttons are now accessible directly from the Applicant Preview overlay.
Google Applicant Locator – New “Applicant Locator” section in Jobs shows you on Google Maps where all your Applicants are located relative to your Office or Job location.
Single Sign On between the ATS and the SmartCommunity -- SmartRecruiters Forum is now fully integrated into the ATS; users don’t need to sign into the Forum separately when they access it from the application.

Improved Usability in Candidate Communication -- With a few clicks you are now able to setup an appointment in your calendar and use one of your pre-defined E-Mail templates to send an Interview Invite, Job Offer, Rejection, or any other message to your Applicants. The process has been revised and structured into three easy steps: Schedule an appointment, select a layout, edit your message.

Embedded Tutorial Videos – Users now have access to Tutorial Videos within the ATS, designed to give first-hand training and assistance with many SmartRecruiters functions.
