By: The Alpha & Omega Photo Gallery Joe Baraban is one of the true legendary “masters” in photography. Over a forty year career, National Geographic, Life, Time, Newsweek, the New York Times Magazine, Texas Monthly and others, have hired Joe for editorial assignments. Joe has shot advertising campaigns for most of the Fortune 500 companies, including the full line car brochures for several automotive manufacturers. Alberta, Canada, Pennsylvania, Alabama, and Texas have used Joe to photograph their tourism advertising. In the last two years, Joe has turned his ‘eye’ to more fine art photography, and has traveled around the country, mostly in Texas, capturing images of interesting windows on old houses as well as buildings. As he shoots these windows, each one seems to call out to him with its own intriguing and mysterious story or background. With “Window Dressings, Joe Baraban has created a masterful collection of fine art photographs that has gained much attention at other galleries where he has shown.
