Follow on Google News | Crossroads Restaurant Introduces New Farm-to-Table MenuThe Crossroads Restaurant in Baltimore has launched a new farm-to-table lunch and dinner menu that features the seasonal best from local growers and emphasizes eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture.
By: Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys The new menu is modeled after the culinary philosophy of renowned Chef Peter Davis, of Henrietta’s Table, located in The Charles Hotel in Cambridge, MA, who has been an advocate of “fresh and honest” menus, recipes, and vendors for over 15 years. Don Crowther, Executive Chef at the Crossroads Restaurant, has engaged numerous local and organic vendors to supply beef from grass fed, free range cows, organically grown greens and produce, hand-crafted cheeses, and homemade breads and pastas. This effort reflects the Crossroads’ commitment to offering authentic, fresh dishes with exceptional value. Chef Crowther says, “The new menu has something for everyone—lunchtime specials for those on the go all the way to gourmet dishes perfect for special occasions—and, we’re proud to tell guests about what they’re eating and where it came from.” The Village Trio is a lunch dish designed for 10-minute service and is an ideal combination of the daily soup special, a salad made with Earthbound Farms organic greens, and a half of the day’s special sandwich—all for $11.95. The dinner menu features a host of appetizers that speak to Baltimore’s Chesapeake location such as Steamed Shrimp and Mussels. Entrees include hearty meals like the Pappardelle Pasta with pasta made at The Great Cheese in Baltimore and the Cross Keys Burger made with free- range beef supplied by Albright Farms, smothered with cave aged cheddar from Hawks Hill Creamery. Dinner entrees start at $13.95, with daily specials from $10.95. According to Vincent Sharps, President of Graphic Press in Ellicott City, who recently dined for lunch at Crossroads and enjoyed the Bistro Steak with Bleu Cheese, Lemon Broccoli, and Au Gratin Potatoes, “The food and service at the Radisson Cross Keys was top notch. It is now on my short list of favorite places to dine in the area!” Another patron, Rob Commodari, a realtor with RE/MAX Elite Realty said, “The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would certainly recommend Crossroads to my friends and family.” About Crossroads Restaurant Since 1973 the Crossroads Restaurant has been serving hotel guests, members of the Village of Cross Keys community, and residents of the greater Baltimore area.
