Oct. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- The Hollywood American Legion Theatre (H.A.L.T.) presents "The House of Besarab" starting November 12, 2009 through December 20, 2009 at the Hollywood American Legion, 2035 N Highland Avenue, Hollywood, CA 90068.
Come follow the action in the castle of Count Dracula--a multi-room environmental adventure! "The House of Besarab" is modeled after Los Angeles' longest-running play "Tamara" (http://articles.latimes.com/1989-02-12/entertainment/ca-3037_1) and takes place in three separate spaces, with the audience following the action from room to room. However, this time the action is much more sinister, as you wander the halls of Count Dracula's castle!
Note that this play contains adult themes, and no one under 21 will be admitted.
"The House of Besarab" is adapted by Terance M. Duddy and Theodore Ott, and is produced and directed by Terance M. Duddy.  Featuring Dane Bowman*, Megan Harwick, Michael Hegedus, David Himes*, Travis Michael Holder*, Chase McKenna*, Miliza Milo, Jason Parsons, Terra Shelman and Sara Spink (*by arrangement with Actors Equity).
Play opens November 12th and runs until December 20th. The production will take place Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 9 p.m., Sundays at 8 p.m.
"The House of Besarab" is being held at the Hollywood American Legion Memorial Clubhouse, 2035 N Highland Avenue in Hollywood. The historic building, built in 1929, is located one block south of the Hollywood Bowl.
