By: Hollywood American Legion Theatre (H.A.L.T.) Come follow the action in the castle of Count Dracula--a multi-room environmental adventure! "The House of Besarab" is modeled after Los Angeles' longest-running play "Tamara" (http://articles.latimes.com/ Note that this play contains adult themes, and no one under 21 will be admitted. "The House of Besarab" is adapted by Terance M. Duddy and Theodore Ott, and is produced and directed by Terance M. Duddy. Featuring Dane Bowman*, Megan Harwick, Michael Hegedus, David Himes*, Travis Michael Holder*, Chase McKenna*, Miliza Milo, Jason Parsons, Terra Shelman and Sara Spink (*by arrangement with Actors Equity). Play opens November 12th and runs until December 20th. The production will take place Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 9 p.m., Sundays at 8 p.m. "The House of Besarab" is being held at the Hollywood American Legion Memorial Clubhouse, 2035 N Highland Avenue in Hollywood. The historic building, built in 1929, is located one block south of the Hollywood Bowl. Reservations are now being accepted at Plays411.com (see below). Cost is $55 and includes parking, one cocktail at the legendary Hollywood Post 43 art deco bar, and light hors d'oeurves during intermission. Its 800-seat auditorium has hosted a variety of music events from classical to rock concerts, both for live performances and recording purposes. The legendary art deco bar has been a frequent hot spot for many Hollywood celebrities and events. Hollywood Post 43 is a 501(c)(19) charity organization that provides comradeship for veterans who have served during wartime. End
