Dec. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- INTERVIEW PODCAST: Marianne Faithfull tells independent journalist Jennifer Davies (www.jennifer-davies.com) she's battling with a touch of writer's block in this 9-minute interview on World Radio Switzerland. She was recently awarded by "Q" and met Amy Winehouse for the first time at the ceremony. "It was touching for me to give her a cuddle and say there, there" says Faithfull, who is disappointed that female artists still face gender stereotyping nowadays. "Women are judged much more harshly" she explains, as she prepares for the European leg of her tour, where she'll perform songs from her latest album, Easy Come Easy Go. She also talks about her troubled past, overcoming drug addiction (and Mick Jagger)and how she feels blessed to be able to remember the '60s, as well as expressing some hope that she'll meet a significant other some time when work allows.
