Announcing the Formation of W Capital LLC

Dec. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO – Three investment banking veterans announced today the formation of W Capital LLC, a new privately held boutique investment banking firm based in San Diego providing advisory services to privately owned, publicly held and family controlled businesses. The firm advises clients in a number of different situations and industries, but specializes in providing mergers & acquisitions, private capital raising and strategic financial advisory services to middle-market companies in the Western U.S.

W Capital was founded with the objective of providing sophisticated investment banking services to middle market companies that are increasingly unable to achieve their full financial and strategic goals without the assistance of a dedicated investment bank. We act as trusted advisors to our clients providing objective advice with a long-term perspective.

Our professionals have specific industry experience including aerospace & defense, business services, clean technology and energy, consumer products, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, retail, software, technology and transportation, however, we will evaluate opportunities to advise clients across all industry sectors.

Forming W Capital are Todd D. Wilson, Kurt K. Wickham and Joel S. Weinstein, all investment banking veterans with more than 35 combined years of advisory experience. All previously worked together at RA Capital Advisors, a leading Southern California private investment banking firm. The team also brings valuable experience from prior years at bulge bracket and boutique investment banking firms Credit Suisse, Thomas Weisel Partners and Cowen and Company.
