CHRISTIAN AUDIGIER: The Fashion of Fine Wine and Champagne.

Connoisseur Exchange Limited (Connxchange) will be introducing these premium wines and champagnes to the African Market starting with a launch in Lagos, Nigeria in December 2009. Connxchange is a Nigerian company with a mission to bring the world's best to Africa and tailor whatever it is to the unique African market through innovative concepts.

The wines are produced in the vineyards of the Montpeyroux Estates, in the heart of Rhone wine country, just 75 miles west of Avignon where Christian Audidgier was born and raised. While the grapes are grown by the Roquefeuil family that have been growing wine since the 16th century.

Like the true Frenchman and designer that he is, Christian Audigier has a real understanding of and appreciation for wines, champagnes, high fashion and all the finer things in life. He has as a result fused ‘traditional” effortlessly with “contemporary” through striking tattoo-like bottle designs, inspired by his signature edgy Rock n Roll street style and Hollywood glam.

The five wine options dubbed “Le Vin Cool” range includes the velvety Merlot, spicy Syrah, rich Cabernet, golden Chardonnay and a special edition Rose Cuvee d’Or meaning there is a wine for every palette and occasion.

The champagne is produced by internationally renowned and multi-award winning winemakers Dumangin based in Chigny Les Roses, France. It is available in two distinctively branded varieties; the Premiere Cru Pink Champagne (powerfully structured with remarkable finesse and a delectable light salmon colour) and the Grande Reserve (Brut); a fruity perfectly balanced cuvee, perfect for celebrations).
