Jan. 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Wayne Guinn, Director of Finance for The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) has been named to the 2010 Microsoft Not For Profit Advisory Board.

The NFP Advisory Board was established as part of the Microsoft Not For Profit Solution Center, a group dedicated to helping the not for profit community find technology solutions to better run their organizations.

While serving on the board, Guinn will provide direction and support for the creation of a broader NFP Executive Forum, network with other local IT executives to discuss experiences with Microsoft Solutions and provide feedback on Microsoft Business planning.

Guinn was invited to serve on the board as a result of his over 20 years of non-profit accounting, financial and business management experience. Prior to his time as Financial Director for NSCS, he served as the CFO and Director of Finance for large not for profit organizations in the Pacific Northwest.

"It is a real privilege to be chosen to serve on this Board,” said Guinn. “I really hope to be able to provide some input that will serve the non-profit community as a whole."
