By: ITI GmbH In close collaboration with distributors in more than 35 countries worldwide, ITI operates a successful network of stand-alone partners dedicated to the sales and service of its physical modeling software, SimulationX. With immediate effect, the activities on the Southern European and Western European markets will be coordinated by ITI Southern Europe SARL, acting independently in local sales, technical support, marketing, and human resources development. Simulation solutions are provided and supported for customers in France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey as well as in the French-speaking parts of Belgium and Switzerland. In his role as “Global Sales Director” and sales manager for ITI Southern Europe, Olivier Datry is in charge of developing the market in Southern and Western Europe, establishing strong partner networks, acquiring new customers and locally strengthen the brand SimulationX across all industries. He is supported by a technically- “With the expansion of our presence in Europe we provide both, our software SimulationX and our services to the local markets. This strategy is part of our positioning as a supplier of one-stop solutions for the development of complete mechatronics systems. The establishment of ITI Southern Europe SARL is another significant step on our way to becoming a key player in the European CAE market. The subsidiaries in Northern and Southern Europe will become an important hub for the growing worldwide network of ITI sales and service locations acting on our belief that local support is a key factor in supporting our clients and partnering in their design process,” says Jens O. Schindler ITI Managing Director, about the aims of the new office. “The expansion of the ITI Group strengthens our market position, creates a solid foundation for the entry in new country markets and acts as the engine for accelerating our growth strategy,” adds Dr. Andreas Uhlig, ITI Managing Director, and continues: “The company performed well in 2009 and is financially set for further expansion with sales running stable and an increasing global demand for ITI simulation solutions.” About ITI For more than 19 years ITI has been one of the internationally leading companies for the virtual system engineering. The software models the interaction of components from a multitude of domains including their mutual interaction and feedback on one platform. This significantly distinguishes SimulationX from any other kind of CAE software (FEM, CFD, MBS). SimulationX is the standard in software for evaluation of the interaction of all components in technical systems. It is the universal CAE tool for modeling, simulating and analyzing physical effects – with ready-to-use model libraries for 1D mechanics, 3D multi-body systems, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, thermodynamics, electrics, electrical drives, magnetic as well as controls – post-processing included. SimulationX fully supports Modelica® language and offers a wide range of open, comprehensive CAx-interfaces. Further information on www.simulationx.com. End
