Oakland County Foreclosure Expert Ralph Roberts Appoints Licensed Real Estate Agent Reps

Jan. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Farmington Hills, MI - At a Sterling Hgts. meeting last week of his advisers and real estate associates, Ralph Roberts announced the appointments of Bonnie Steele, Michelle Ochalak and John Selby to serve as Agent- Representatives in Oakland and Macomb Counties.

Bonnie Steele and Michelle Ochalak will assume duties in Oakland County immediately as Agent-Representative and Communications Specialist respectively. Steele will identify and evaluate foreclosed homes for Roberts’ foreclosure prevention project, the Home Saver Program.

As a licensed Realtor and investor, Bonnie lives with her family in Howell, Michigan and has 25 years experience in health-care management.  “As Ralph’s representative, I want to help as many families out of this foreclosure epidemic as possible,” declared Steele.  “The Home Saver Program is so unique because we can implement it at any step of the foreclosure process.”  

Roberts went on to explain that he will train one to six new agent-reps at a time to identify and evaluate foreclosed homes. “The longer-range goal is to duplicate a similar structure for every county in the United States,” said Roberts.

“The resources, the information, the hardships are all out there,” he continued.  “And, everybody knows, the need is certainly everywhere.”  The problem of home foreclosures is widespread and it doesn't seem to be abating. There are over 1,000 foreclosures each week in the tri-county area alone, according to Roberts.

Since last June, Oakland County's foreclosure expert saved hundreds of homes from foreclosure. The most dramatic example of his plan came last year in November.

Bill and Sue Nebe in Oakland County were counting their last days in their family home. Their redemption period was coming to an end the day before Thanksgiving.

With a mutual friend’s advice, Bill Nebe contacted Roberts.  In less than 72 hours, Ralph found an investor, negotiated three leans with the lenders, contracted the title searches, structured a mortgage, saved the home and made a small, yet appropriate, commission.

“I wish I could do this for every family facing foreclosure today in America,” said Roberts. “There are thousands of family homes in the United States that can be saved from foreclosure.”  Michigan is one of the hardest hit states with distressed mortgages and foreclosed homes in America.  

With a proto-group of agents in place today in the metro area of southeast Michigan, Roberts will expand into the remaining counties of the state.  “From there,” he said, “the Mid-West and beyond.”

“This isn’t about becoming the richest realtor,” Roberts maintains. “I want to prove to the real estate world that there is more to “cashing in” on the economic hardships and vulnerability of today’s market than making a fortune.”
