Feb. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Las Terrenas in 2004. First time that i entered the village! 6 pm. Start of my new life, which i did not know... Las Terrenas was full of traffic at that monent. I was tired from the trip and was thinking "ooh my god..., where did i go to?".

The day after i rented a quad and turned around. I drove along the beach Playa Coson, Bonita, Las Ballenas and for myself i discovered that Las Terrenas is a very exceptional small village.

I decided to buy a property there, moved permanently to Las Terrenas, and as of the date of today i am still here: february 2010.

I saw a lot of changes in these 5-6 years.
-Almost all streets in Las Terrenas asphalted
-Samana roads are working as well
-El Catey international airport is open
-new highway from Santo Domingo to Samana is done
-new boulevard from El Catey to Las Terrenas in full progress
-aquaduct Samana in full progress

In all parts around Las Terrenas you see projects coming, smaller or larger ones. People from all over the world are coming here for holiday and to look for property.

People who are coming here are not the average Punta Cana people. To come to Samana or Las Terrenas you have to be special. Its a special town with special people.

Its a perfect mixture from foreigners and dominican poeple, who live side by side.
