Campaign launched to boost Norfolk Broads

Feb. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- At the Boat and Caravan show next week, the Norfolk Broads will be upheld by an arguably largest collaborative promotion campaign to promote it as a leading destination in the United Kingdom Tourism map. To meet this end, the Broads Authority has reportedly teamed up with the Broads Tourism Forum and the team would jointly launch the promotion dubbed Enjoy the Broads 2010 on Tuesday at the National Exhibition Centre.

Visitors to the Birmingham arena on this day would be served with a sneak preview of the promotion’s glossy brochure of twenty four pages particularly designed to attract tourists to the Norfolk Broads. More, 175,000 printed copies – a record in its own standards – of the brochure would be distributed throughout and beyond East Anglia.

The brochure that provides vital information for the visitors on what to see and do, other ideas and a map to find the many attractions of the region will be available at tourist information centres, bus and train stations, parks and ride sites of the area, and hotels. Visitors form abroad can even obtain it from Norwich International Airport.

The Broad is often referred to as the largest protected wetland in the United Kingdom and the third largest inland waterway in the country with the status of a national park. The area popular for its variety of wildlife, offers great cottage and boating holidays, day boat hire and river trips as well.
