Feb. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Chatfe, a voice communications service, won the "Best Viable Business" award from Microsoft BizSpark after a two-day competition. Chatfe's management team, comprised of Paul Orlando (CEO), Edward Chin (COO) and Steven Wang (CTO) pitched Chatfe's service and business model at the finale of Microsoft's New York BizSpark event. Only five companies were chosen to pitch to a panel of judges representing Angel investors, technology industry experts and Microsoft representatives.

One of the judges, Larry Gregory, Senior Director of US Partner Evangelism at Microsoft, said "Chatfe had a great pitch, demonstrated the strength of their founding team and showed an impressive demo. I was happy they won the 'Best Viable Business' award and I think they’ve got great potential."

Another judge, Leo Mennitt of the New Jersey Technology Council, said, “The Chatfe team pitched their 'reverse social network' service clearly and showed applications of their technology. After their award for 'Best Viable Business' at BizSpark, I'm looking forward to seeing Chatfe's growth.”

"We are ecstatic to win this award," said Paul Orlando, Chatfe's CEO. "It is a validation of our work so far and was truly a team effort. Thanks to Microsoft for a great event and all the judges for their feedback."

David Rose from NY Angels presented the award to the team.
