Elements of collage, monotype, and structure are acceptable. No jury fee; $150 annual membership fee, which can be paid in two installments. Information: About PAN: PAN’s mission is to support contemporary printmaking through exhibitions, educational programs, and by promoting the practice, appreciation, and collecting of original prints. Print Arts Northwest holds monthly exhibits in the PAN Gallery, located in the Washington County Museum, highlighting featured member artists. In addition, PAN’s Sponsor Exhibition Program showcases member artists in a series of exhibits in regional businesses and galleries throughout the year. We maintain an extensive Sales Collection of prints in the PAN gallery, in our satellite gallery in Portland, and through our web site. PAN’s membership includes Pacific Northwest regional artists, as well as national and international artists. PAN actively develops partnerships with international printmakers and sponsors exchange exhibits through our International Printmaking Project. Past international exhibits featured artists from Japan, the Middle East, and Cypress, with an upcoming exhibit scheduled in the fall of 2010 to highlight printmakers from New Zealand. As a member-driven organization, member participation is highly valued. Opportunities to assist with art installations, to disseminate information about PAN programs and exhibits, to participate in educational programming, and to support fellow members at art openings, are a few of the options available for member participation. Print Arts Northwest, a 501 c3 educational nonprofit organization, was founded in 1981 as the Northwest Print Council to create opportunities for professional printmakers and to educate the general public about printmaking. PAN's membership includes artists from across the U.S. and four continents.
