New Mantis Stereo Microscope with Inbuilt Digital Camera

The Mantis is a stereo microscope with patented technology allowing operators to inspect components in comfort.  With an ‘eyepieceless’ viewer, the Mantis Elite provides fatigue free viewing, optimizing accuracy and productivity.

Mantis provides up to x20 magnification with an interchangeable turret, providing operators with the versatility to switch between two objective lenses.  Ideal for use when alternating between inspection and rework, operators can instantaneously switch between low and higher magnification, without putting the sample down.

Now with a high resolution camera built into the viewing head, the Mantis is even more versatile.  Ryan Springell, Design Engineer for Vision Engineering explains why he thinks the Elite-Cam will prove to be a big success, with both existing and new customers:

Factory sealed, the Manti Elite-Cam requires little configuration enabling user to virtually plug and play.  Image capture options include BMP, JPEG and PNG.  Connectivity is through USB 2.0 with easy-to-use PC based software.
