Von Zipper Presents The 2010 Mickey Avalon Australian Tour

March 10, 2010 - PRLog -- (Sydney, Australia) Von Zipper presents Interscope Geffen A&M Recording Artist Mickey Avalon’s 2010 Australian headlining tour in March where he will be performing a serious of select events.  Von Zipper is an international eyewear brand based out of Australia with great success in the fashion and extreme sports world. It will be Von Zipper’s third consecutive year bringing Avalon out to Australia, and the brand looks forward to teaming up to make the 2010 Australian Tour bigger and better.

Avalon, well known to Australia, will be on the road to promote his sophomore album, tentatively titled “Electric Gigolo,” which is slated to be released in 2010. This second album includes Avalon’s first single “Stroke Me,” “Fast Life” which was produced with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and track “Sticky Mickey” featuring Ke$ha. Ke$ha opened for Avalon on his U.S. tour and she currently holds the #1 Australian Singles Charts for her single “Tik Tok” as well as the #1 spot for the U.S. Hot 100 Billboard Chart.  The tour in Australia will be a main attraction for the biggest surf competition in Australia which also kicks off the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World tour. Announced tour dates include March 5th at the Coolangatta Hotel in Coolangatta, QLD, March 7th at The Great Northern Hotel in Byron Bay, NSW, Australia, March 12th at The Forum in Sydney, NSW, March 13th at the ESPY Gershwin Room in Melbourne, VIC, and more dates will be announced.
