2010 North Carolina Open Foosball Championships to Benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research

Foosball Tour stops back to the Triangle area,” said Cribbs Inc. president Alan Cribbs. “Last years foosball tour was fortunate enough to raise $6,000.00 for local charities and we have surpassed $140,000.00 in contributions raised through Bonzini U.S.A. Foosball Tour events, since 2001. We have a dedicated player base that is working hard to make this a premier event on the 2010 Bonzini U.S.A. Foosball Tour.”


“The North Carolina Open Foosball Championships is a fun event that has helped raise money and awareness for essential cancer research,” said V Foundation CEO Nick Valvano. “With the support of the community and events such as this, we have raised more than $90 million for cancer research. Together, we will defeat this disease.”  The V Foundation was founded in 1993 by ESPN and Jim Valvano, who proclaimed “Don’t Give Up…Don’t Ever Give Up!”® as the motto in the fight against the disease.


“The Raleigh Bonzini USA Foosball club, Powerkick, is once again very excited about hosting the 2010 Jimmy V NC Open Foosball Tournament.  This tournament is a great opportunity for players to get together and have a good time doing what we love, while at the same time raising money for a very worthy cause, the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research.” said Bobby Yates, representative of Powerkick.
