March 26, 2010 - PRLog -- The Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival had a great start yesterday with DJ Gav Bean playing music in the park and giving a background history of some of the songs played. There was a free sausage sizzle also in the Rotary park.

I attended Weston Workers last night with No Brakes playing. This was a great Melbourne band that traveled up for the festival. DJ Gav Bean gave out prizes for the longest distance traveler to the festival. I spoke to one lady from Woolongong Julia who said that she had come along to the festival with her friend and was enjoying the Nostalgia Festival. I had promised her a dance, but she was whisked away to one of the many other venues on for the rock and roll dancing. If she is back at Weston Workers tonight I will give her that promised dance. Louis King will be playing at Weston Workers tonight.

There are many things to see and do at the festival with stalls and dancing through out the day. There are antique cars to see and free dance lessons for visitors.

Providing dancing lessons in Swing, Cha Cha and Rockabilly dancing during the week days. Great with teaching different styles and very clear with instructions on what to do.
