Special Guest: Featured in the Jan. 2010 issue of Black Enterprise Magazine-Karen Rose is the owner, Herbal Educator and Master Herbalist of Sacred Vibes Apothecary.  Sacred Vibes was founded in 2001 by Karen Rose.   She is trained in Eastern, Western and Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy.  Her mentors were her grandmother, aunts and the women of the village in which she grew up in.  Karen is from Guyana, South America and her healing is comprised of folk healing remedies and her herbal expertise. Her passion as an herbalist and love of plants shines through in her products and services.  

She has owned and operated an herbal consulting business on the West Coast and has authored newspaper articles on the benefits of herbal medicine.  Karen now runs Sacred Vibes Apothecary her Brooklyn, NY store, and interacts on daily basis with members of her community seeking answers to their health and healing questions.
