News 12 Networks Honored With 13 New York Emmy Awards

The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has honored News 12 Networks with thirteen New York Emmy® Awards, more than any other news channel.

April 22, 2010 - PRLog -- The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has honored News 12 Networks with thirteen New York Emmy® Awards, more than any other news channel.  News 12 Connecticut won seven awards. News 12 Long Island took home four.   News 12 Westchester and News 12 Brooklyn each received one.  The winners were announced recently at a star-studded black-tie gala at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.  

“I am very proud of the achievements by the professionals on our team who were honored by the Academy,” said Pat Dolan, President of News 12 Networks.  "This recognition acknowledges our daily effort to produce quality journalism and to serve our audiences with local news they can’t get anywhere else."

News 12 Connecticut received the following New York Emmy® awards:

Sports Coverage-Single Story: Dirt Dixie; Matthew Cyr, Kevin Jacobsen

News 12 Long Island received the following New York Emmy® awards:

News 12 Westchester received the following New York Emmy® award:  
Environmental Programming: Aquaponics at Cabbage Hill Farm; Marc Blumenthal, Bob Yedowitz

News 12 Brooklyn received the following New York Emmy® award:  
Societal Concerns-News: Child Abuse: Breaking the Cycle; Stacey Delikat
