TAJ Mall prepares to participate in RECon Middle East and North Africa in Dubai

May 1, 2010 - PRLog -- TAJ, Jordan’s  new shopping and entertainment mall that is soon to open in the prestigious Abdoun area in the capital city; will be participating at the RECon Middle East and North Africa Exhibition. This premier networking event for the retail real estate industry is jointly organized by the Middle East Council of Shopping Centers (MECSC) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), taking place on May 2nd at the convention center of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.  
TAJ's pioneering participation aims to position Jordan as a leading touristic platform attracting regional and international investors which will result in numerous opportunities for networking and initiating deals that will ultimately lead to a positive economical contribution. This will also complement what TAJ is aiming to achieve, it is the redefinition of the Jordanian lifestyle scene reflecting a unique architectural marvel.
While MECSC’s exhibition will act as a major attraction that gathers big market players and 2,000 expected visitors, TAJ will be showcasing the level of progress that it currently stands at. Participants at the exhibition shall be presented with the concept of the mall, its envisaged final look and the several prestigious deals that have already been signed with highly acclaimed international and regional brands.
From his part, Mr. Halim Salfiti, Chairman of the board of Al Tajamouat for Touristic Projects plc, reiterated that the decision to participate at the MECSC has come at the most convenient time, just as TAJ is flourishing in terms of speed in progress, deal signings and a nearing never before seen launch in the Kingdom of Jordan. Mr. Salfiti added: "We are proud to represent Jordan in the region and to talk about the levels of growth it is reaching in the field of retails and lifestyle brands".  
It's worth mentioning that the RECon will host 21 regional exhibitors, to be classified into three different arenas; Leasing Fair, Retail Zone, and Trade Expo.
