The Baby Boomer Mantra

May 10, 2010 - PRLog -- What is the popular new mantra we keep hearing Baby Boomers repeating? "I don't wanna get old; I don't wanna get sick; I don't wanna get stupid." Of course a moment or two of thought about the matter would reveal: They're already older, some are already sick, and more than a few boomers weren't that bright to begin with. The big question is not "How can I avoid this?" but, "How do I deal with the reality? The Second Half Christians internet talk radio show talks about the issues facing the Baby Boomer generation from a Christian perspective. Greg and Margaret Fisher started the innovative Christian ministry in September 2009.  "We wanted to let Baby Boomers know there is still a second half of life to be lived" says Margaret Fisher.  She goes on to say that many boomers want to play it safe and coast into senior-hood. Not a good plan.  According to the Fishers the Baby Boomer generation still has a lot to offer. Greg Fisher, the ministry founder, points out that is why issues of importance to boomers are discussed on the weekly program.
