G2G3 offers a new direction for ITSM consulting with Pathfinder

May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- G2G3 (www.g2g3.com), the leading provider of business simulations and readiness programs has today announced the launch of Pathfinder; a facts-based, easy-to-use, software mediated online assessment portal which automates and simplifies IT Service Management (ITSM), ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000 and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) consulting engagements.
G2G3 will license Pathfinder to its global partner community, as well as offering Pathfinder assessments directly to its enterprise clients as an integral part of its suite of simulations and readiness programs.

Pathfinder offers a rapid and cost-effective online process assessment and reporting portal in a software-as-a-service (SAAS) environment that has been designed to expedite the collection and analysis of ITSM, ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000 and Project Portfolio Management process assessment data. Pathfinder uses this data to undertake detailed analysis of the capability of an IT service providers processes, scoring them across multiple dimensions and generating accurate IT Service provision perception results as well as detailed observations and recommendations. These recommendations are captured in the form of a Journey Plan, which maps the process assessment data to realistic, balanced-scorecard targets that are specific to the organization under review, and ultimately facilitates a multi-phased program of remediation which is clearly defined, business-prioritized and designed to return maximum value to IT and the Business.

Because Pathfinder is a software application it provides a fast, objective and consistent cloud-based assessment methodology, eliminating the lengthy and often subjective methods evident in more traditional consultancy methods. Pathfinder is also unique in the fact that it guarantees data integrity through its facts-driven, statistical engine which uses proven mathematical algorithms to transform data into actionable strategy.

Pathfinder can be used as a standalone cloud-based assessment service or as a complementary assessment service around the G2G3 simulation products.
