May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Midway Specialty Vehicles is now taking orders on its new Pinnacle Bus designed to transport passengers in comfort.  Many different floor plans are available to customize the interior with a variety of side, rear and overhead luggage racks to accommodate passengers. “Physically Challenged” passengers are comfortably accommodated with ADA/FMVSS wheelchair lifts and ADA wheelchair securement systems.

The Sprinter Cab Chassis offers outstanding fuel economy with a 2010 emission compliant engine rated at 20 MPG.  With its DEF system that reduces CO2 emission, the 2010 “Green” Sprinter is also priced $1,920 less than a 2009 Sprinter.  And all of this is offered in a vehicle with a fantastic turning radius to easily maneuver in tight airport and city traffic.

The Pinnacle Bus has completed the Altoona Structural Durability Test.  The STURAA (Surface Transportation and Uniform Relocation Assistance Act) test is performed for the FTA in Altoona, PA by Penn State University.  The STURAA Test for the Pinnacle Bus was completed for the 7-Year/200,000 Mile category.

The Pinnacle Bus, with large side windows and front windshield for optimum panoramic visibility, also includes a standard electric-operated passenger entry door with a clear width of 40”, the widest in the industry. Passengers can quickly and easily enter and exit the Pinnacle Bus with carryon luggage.  Once onboard, passengers can relax in seating with luxurious options such as reclining backs, flip up armrests, adjustable headrests, and the comfort of leather.  Passengers have commented how easy it is to move around the roomy interior and that the standard upgraded interior makes the ride very enjoyable.

The Pinnacle Bus is manufactured in Elkhart, IN using the Sprinter Mercedes Benz or Freightliner Cab Chassis.  This “state of the art” chassis complements the many features of the Pinnacle Bus including fiberglass trim panels to enhance the aerodynamic features of the Sprinter.  Last but certainly not least, the “steel cage” construction designed by Midway for the Pinnacle Bus offers unparalleled safety for passengers.
