Creating A Better World

May 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Are there things in our world you would like to change, but you feel powerless to change them?  While the vast majority of us feel we do not have the resources, time, connections or even the energy to make many of the changes we dream about, we are much more powerful than we give ourselves credit for.  True power isn’t found in money, in the people we know, or in how educated we are.  It isn’t found in politics, in titles, in fame, or in guns.  True power, the power that creates life and can move mountains, is the power of love.  

No matter who you are, where you live, how much you have, what circumstances you find yourself in, or what has happened in your life… you can make a difference.  Each and every one of us can make a difference.

Making a difference in the world is extremely easy.  It is as simple as feeling love for someone.  When you feel love, whether it is toward a child, parent, significant other, friend or pet, you become one with the forces of creation in our universe.  When you feel love, you not only lift up your own spirit, but lift up human consciousness as well.  We are all connected, and as consciousness is raised, the world as a whole will be more loving, compassionate and peaceful.  

It seems so foolproof, but how often do we actually think about love and allow ourselves to feel it?  Even if there are people we care about immensely, how often do we actually think of them, truly appreciate them, and send them our love?  If you are like the average, busy, person, the answer is probably not very often.  Start to take time each day to bring the power of love into your life.  Perhaps write down a list of your loved ones and spend a little time each day to appreciate and send love to those people.  Not only can this make enormous improvements in your own life, but you can help to lift up the world around you as well.
