Chef Jean-Marc Cabirol, formerly of La Panetiere, Joins Brynwood as Executive Chef

May 18, 2010 - PRLog -- ARMONK, NY – Brynwood Golf & Country Club, the most successful new country club in Westchester County, has announced a new world-class culinary team led by Executive Chef Jean-Marc Cabirol.

Cabirol comes to Byrnwood from La Panetiere in Rye where as Executive Chef he led the renowned restaurant to the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award in each of his tenure. A native of France, Cabirol is a graduate of the world-renowned French Culinary Institute. He has worked at award-winning Parisian restaurants including Taillevent, Le Pavilion, Ledoyen, Le Plaza Athenee and Les Jardins de L’Opera in Toulouse, all Michelin starred establishments.

Joining Cabirol at Brynwood is Executive Sous Chef Robert DiSalvo. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, DiSalvo was previously with Inn Credible Caterers, where he led their award winning flagship facility, The Clubhouse at Patriot Hills in Stony Point, NY.

Chef  Cabirol will soon unveil a “farm-to-table” menu for Brynwood’s Members Restaurant, which features locally and naturally nurtured produce. “Brynwood members will be able to indulge in the classic and healthy offerings of Chef Cabirol and his exciting culinary team,” said Mr. DeMasters.      

Brynwood, the former Canyon Club, is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar phased improvement plan, which includes renovations to the 65,000-square-foot Clubhouse by renowned architect Hart Howerton; upgrading of tennis and pool facilities; adding new fitness equipment; a new fleet of Club Car golf carts; and other recreational amenities. The Club is open for the 2010 golf season and the newly renovated Clubhouse is scheduled to open this month.  

The Clubhouse provides catering services for private and corporate functions, wedding receptions and bar/bat mitzvahs with ballroom seating for up to 400 guests. There is also an outdoor cocktail terrace overlooking the golf course and surrounding hills featuring spectacular sunsets.

Since the Club was acquired by new owners in December, Brynwood Golf & Country Club has been enthusiastically received by the public with the membership roster sold out in nine weeks and nearly 400 members signed up.
