Follow on Google News | Lights, Camera, Pose: The Pretty Fight Against Lupus in OKCIn observance of Lupus Awareness Month, The Pretty Party debuts its 'Make Over + Beauty Bar + Photo Shoot' experience on Saturday, May 22nd for 60 special women. Event sponsored by Sephora, 105 Degrees and more.
By: Prent Media This chic pampering event features some of OKC’s top professional hairstylists, salons and make-up artists who will style each guest and prepare them to star in a mini-photo shoot. Throughout the day, pampered guests will also indulge in an assortment of hor d’oeuvres and light beverages, while browsing beautiful product and service booths of local vendors and sponsors. Johnson explains, ”The Pretty Party concept is about recognizing the queen in each and every woman and our goal is that every special woman in attendance leaves with a renewed self-confidence in the way she looks and feels. With this worthwhile event, we hope to increase the public’s awareness and understanding of lupus, a disease that affects over 1.5 million Americans, particularly women. This is why we are so excited about the involvement of the Lupus Genetics Studies housed at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.” The Pretty Party was previously scheduled for Sage Gourmet Café but the unexpected surge of responses from vendors and guests merited a larger venue. The Pretty Party is the ultimate ladies soiree and Oklahomans are encouraged to treat their family, friends and themselves. Registration can be completed online at www.theprettyparty.info. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities remain and those interested are asked submit inquiries to alexia@theprettyparty.com for more information.
