Bruce (Automatic) Vanderveer to Produce Teen Vocalist Mikayela Spainhoward

Oct. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Famed music producer, Bruce Vanderveer (AKA Automatic) is set to produce Mikayela Spainhoward's first music project.  "I saw something special in this young, talented teen," said Automatic, "she has the drive and talent to go far."  Automatic has been producing music for a number of years, collaborating with many Grammy Award winning artists, record labels and film companies, including Warner Music, Sony/BMG Music, Fox Searchlight Films, Interscope Records, Columbia Records and A&M Records.

Mikayela is a young, gifted vocalist from Bakersfield, California who began singing at an early age.  Her popularity has grown  in Bakersfield, California, the place of her birth. Singing in the High School Choir has led to a number of performance opportunities for Mikayela, including singing the National Anthem for her school’s football team. In addition , Mikayela has over 8 years of experience as a vocalist in school choirs, two of which were in the selective “Honor Choir”.  

Mikayela loves to sing country music and is developing a style that is a combination of pop and country.     She  would like to become as popular as her favorite artists, Carrie Underwood and Tim McGraw, two of the biggest influences in popularizing country music throughout the world.  Mikayela is currently studying acting and divides her time between Bakersfield and Los Angeles.

The first song is scheduled for release in early 2013.
